Two kids, two cats, two dogs

Hi!  We live in central Illinois on ~3.5 acres of family land that Ryan got from his grandfather.  We live in the area we both grew up and our family is very close by.  It is nice to see our girls able to go to the same school district we grew up in with teachers we went to school with.

Ryan and I finished building our home in 1999 and are totally in love with it.  Well, I know I am!  Obviously it’s almost 10 years old so we are doing new things to it to spruce it up, but the overall structure of our home is perfect.  Our land keeps us busy as well – maintaining it.

We have two beautiful girls, Kylie and Megan.  Kylie was born in September 2002 and Megan was born in March 2005 (1 month early).  Both girls are very energetic and require a lot of our attention.  They are the joy of our life, for sure.

We had three cats – Cinderella, Jake, and Smokey.  Cinderella and Jake have since passed away, leaving us with “Smokes”.  We recently acquired “Rambo”, a siamese, from Ryan’s mom.  He’s a great cat as well.  So we have two cats at the moment. 

Ryan is an electrical engineer for a nation-wide company and I am a business manager for a non-profit insurance organization.
