A little update

We went to Chicago last week.  I had a work meeting and so we spent 3 extra days there to have some fun.  We went to the aquarium, movie theatre, children’s museum, saw Santa, the winter wonderland festival, swimming…….you name it we did it.  Although we did not shop the Magnificent Mile.  We were going to do that Saturday before we left for home but Ryan was so sick we decided to skip it and get home earlier.

When we got back from our trip, Ryan immediately went to the Urgent Care where he was diagnosed with strep throat.  I went later that same evening and was diagnosed with the same thing, lol.  Oh, aren’t we a pair?  hee hee.  I was the one who gave it to him, but was too stubborn to go in myself days earlier when I knew something was wrong.

We are now getting into the mad rush of the holiday season.  The tree is up, some of the shopping is done, decorations up, Christmas cards are in the mail.  We just have more shopping to do, wrapping presents, and baking cookies.  sigh.  We WILL make it through this.  LOL.
